Thank you so much
          Clarity is clear to see,so the book is majorily on her becoming who she is after being abused by her dad . I have noticed that she does really struggle to be herself .so the emotional co-dependency to masego is technically caused by the GREAT ONES because she is the choosen one for him. Spiritual tings

          Like its really a good book thanks for the response

Girl hayii the girl is not make sure i don't see trauma experience. she gets 50k from her husband thats the only income she get as far as i read .on top of that private school is expense 50k+ is enough for one kid a month .so there must be a change in the wife allowance that she gets . Not in a bad way tho.ubering is not cheap private school is expensive and she saves money for rainy days does 50k cover all this per month certainly not.

          As for the trauma experience she has to flinch to any movement done by anyone she must find falling in love hard because daddy issues also must not trust easy must prefer being alone or with siblings. I am not even half way on the book but she now sounds like a gold digger .she already forgot about her dads teaching "abuse " i mean when she kicked out masego and the girlfriend she should have been scared that masego was going to beat her up even if he keeps on saying he doesn't approve of any form of abuse .(all this fear comes from how the person how is supposed to be a father is a monster "so lack of faith and trust").

          Then there is the fact that she used to eat 2 to 3 times at her dads meaning she now has anorexia she cant take more than 2/3 bites of food .so when they force to eat more she will obey but later on she must vomit it out because her body isn't used to much dosage of food.

          Suddenly she is able to give attitude to private school head master and the girlfriend but she couldn't backchat the other from the village i think it was chanel or something.

          Otherwise the beginning of the book was good i got invested but now the book is shaky because as a reader/writer i question certain things .

          There is more i wanna say but you have to figure it out yourself

In addition, remember she took the abuse from her father because of her little siblings. After her mother died, she automatically took her place and was in protect mode. Hence, she was so harsh with the head master because she knew if the child had been expelled, there was no other school that was going to accept him (with how dogy they even got to that school in the first place).

            And yes, as the writer, I also feel there was a lot more I could have said reading it, but I wrote this in my teen years, and I love how raw it is. There will be a lot more loopholes in the story, but all in all, as a reader, I appreciated how everything worked out.

            I hope that helps . And I appreciate this from you it shows you are an active reader .

@xadie_2801 Hey .
            I love your analysis, and yes, all those things are true. I truly love and appreciate it ✨️. And yes, your concerns are valid, but remember, all Madileng ever wanted was a rich guy who was going to take good care of her ( at the beginning, she mentioned it). And yes her father made her meek and weak but that is not the real her, she involved and grew into who she really was which she seemed mean at time which could tell us as readers how much she is struggling to come to terms with being her true self.

            She also developed some kind of emotional dependcy on Masego which is visible because she claims not to be bothered by the relationship he has but it clearly bothering her, infact it bothered her from day one from the river .

            Her Outbust was a clearly needed one when she pushed them out , it shows she has been lying when saying the relationship is not bothering her. That moment shows us that there is more to her actual feelings for masego than what she says.

            Everything again shows us how mentally unstable she actually is. After such a traumatic experience, she had no therapy or psychological help. We see her try to ignore the past and act like everything is okay but she has episodes where she uses cleaning as her coping tool (it is not enough truely, hence that will break down at some point).

            And yes, 50k is her personal allowance. She does not do any household stuff with that money. I personally think it is a lot, but as time goes by, maybe it's too little ( but for someone who has no bills, it is more than enough).

            The eating part I, as the writer, I mentioned in passing to show the reader on the after effects of abuse, which I did not dwell on for the sake of the story. The parts when she would flinch at fast movement also indicate that she is still dealing with the psychological impacts of the abuse, which I did not dwell on.
