Jaden O'Berry was born on February 16th at a Beaumont hospital in Michigan with her twin sister, Sierra. She was born into a family of 7 (along with her baby sister who was born in 2009).
Being raised in a small town did not leave much for the imagination. Growing up, she never really made any friends, but none of that bothered her, seeing as she turned to music at a very young age. She listened to artists like Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and David Bowie. By the time she was 9 years old she self-taught herself several instruments including the piano. Music was her escape from the small town she didn't really care to be in.
Despite the change of scenery from moving at the age of 10, middle school was especially hard. She spent most of her days in school silent, and if she were to talk it would only have been to the handful of friends she had managed to make. It gradually got better as she moved on from middle school to high school, but even now if you ask her about her time in middle school she won't say anything besides how glad she is to have left it.
As she got older she became more invested in writing short stories which gradually turned into novels. She wrote about her life experiences (however short her life had been) and what she believed in. She wrote about how fate and destiny both exist, she wrote about the powers beyond our control, and about being free. She wrote about being yourself in a world that was trying to change you. By the age of 13 she had successfully finished over 4 novels, the pride was short lived however, seeing as her toughest critic was herself. All of her novels were thrown in the trash and never thought of as anything important. Her longest novel was titled "Life In Reverse", and it was over thirty chapters long. It was never shared with anyone but Jaden, though.
Jaden is planning on writing a new novel this year, and her goal is to not throw away this one, but get it published eventually.
