I feel there's this notion in fantasy that it needs to be long and epic and everything needs to have large timelines. My stuff isn't that. My fantasy is sword and sorcery. Which is brisk and violent. It all does take place in the same bizarre world, but nothing is really connected.

I don't think books or movies or music or whatever, should be 'censored' or 'edited' for racist, sexist, ableist content. I think these terrible ideals should be out there for people to see first hand. We must teach history. Not hide it. Or we're doomed to repeat it.
