I’m putting The Abandoned Mutants on hiatus indefinitely. Mainly because I wanna focus on trying to finish In Between the Lines. Another reason is because I just don’t enjoy it anymore.
I had so many plans for it. For the climatic parts, but I feel like I’ll never be able to get to it. Because there’s a lot of stuff I’d need to get through writing until I can get to writing the cool action scenes. The planning a revolution scene. All the fun stuff you know? But I gotta get through the the kinda boring stuff first. Which I feel is too much and would probably take up all of the first book. Because I don’t wanna make it too long.
A while a go, I planned on scrapping and rewriting the whole thing. And it’s something I might do. But I’d keep the original up, for my long time followers to read, and to see the progress I’ve made. I’d take out a lot of things in the rewrite, like the part about Allistar being the fairy thing I came up with but forgot the name. And I’d probably have him wear a regular mask instead of the tv the whole time. Because it’s very impractical (poor Allistar). And I definitely wouldn’t put as much focus on the romantic relationships. Because that’s not the focus of the story. If that’s something you’d wanna see, let me know.
