i’ve been good! i’m glad you still like it even after all this time, i’ll go on here once and awhile and it amazes me that something that i wrote when i was younger is still read by people. i hope you’ve been well and i miss the days when i’d look forward to your comments, maybe one day we’ll do it again

To add! The songs seem more toned down? Like the banjo in Mean isn't as loud as the original.. Or is it just me?

agreed! while listening to the album for the first time I noticed the emotions were missing, songs like last kiss felt really dull and kind of lifeless to me. I think it's because the og one will always have a special place in my heart. And I like some vault tracks I think the one with Hayley is really good! As well as I can see you! Those are both my favs. I think in general I just need to listen more...

@starrshiiz a little disappointed to be honest, one thing that made speak now amazing for me even though it's never been my favourite album, is always the emotions taylor felt whilst recording it. i know a lot of time has passed and she's healed, so the songs won't be the same but it makes me sad because dear john and last kiss just don't feel the same now. not a huge fan of the vault tracks but maybe i need to warm up to them (fearless vault tracks are still my favourites though) 
            i'm just not a big speak now girl so that's probably why this has been my least favourite rerelease!
            what are your thoughts??

hey! i’m so glad to hear that and i’m just trying to survive before senior year and all that. the way i cried when i heard long live was so embarrassing  but it’s just so nostalgic but yet so different because she’s grown up so much (especially with the lyric change in better than revenge and like the attempt to dissolve her original sorta misogynistic undertones to the song because she was so young). i listened to the album the morning after it came out while driving to my class and i just hopped in the backseat to lie down for like five minutes before i got down and stared at the roof while innocent played. not to mention the vault songs??? when emma falls in live and foolish one have me in a chokehold rn, but how do you feel about it?? i feel like you’d have so much to say and i’d live your input on it?
