All in all dream()scape is….. an A!?!?!?? I don’t know y’all the composition is on point, the songs are trendy without losing dream’s sound and color, the songs are all really good, and they weren’t all about the same thing. If anything it’s like a 90% type A but either way they did the darn thing with this one!!!! No real skips, we got variety, and the only con is how short the songs are but other than that it was amazing!! I can’t wait to watch the stages and I know y’all gon be streaming it because it eats lmboooo live laugh love dream!!!!!

BREATHING IS SO BEAUTIFUL YET THE EPITOME OF CORNBALL BEHAVIORRMAKNSKSKSKSJSJ “you’re here now I’m breathing” ARE YOU FORREAL AKNSKSMSKSKKSS AAAAHHHH!!!! I love this thing of mark and Jeno’s verses complimenting each other, it sounds so good. Everyone’s singing sounds amazing btw dream really thought they could have 7 vocalists and we wouldn’t notice smh bolll the harmonies??!?!!? And the high notessss yessss. the ending verse got a lil ehhh but overall this song is typical dream sweetness. Haechan and CHENLE sung the mess out of this song lord ESPECIALLY CHENLE AT THE END GAAAHHHDDDDD HE ATE!!!! I love Jeno and jisung’s singing voices (also apparently jaem was harmonizing with jisung and omg it’s a match made?!????) and they fit with the vibe so well. There’s not much going on, the album nicely winded down to this song, it matched the other songs’ energy while still being its own slower bop. What’s there not to love?!???

The percussion, the swelling and falling, the lofi guitar intro (which I promise you i know where they got it from—), the little watery “beeps”. And that m83/coldplay style “waaahhhh” during the chorus?!?!? Majestic. Im gonna be saying the chorus/pre chorus/refrain for months lmbooo also they gave us an ending bridge! Everyone ate their deliveries, but mark, jisung, renjun, and Jeno carried. The soft emo raps hit every time!!! Mark hit that Doja flow for a second on that heavenly tag team with Jeno omg and they pulled a mic bungee and I love it!!! I am so obsessed with this TikTok cash grab of a song this is the best one on the album goodbyeeeeee ITS LITERALLY PERFECT LANDLSMDKSKS It wasn’t even lazy like it’s short and not saying a lot lyrically but they didn’t just throw us a catchy chorus with trash verses and call it a day. The auto tune, the jumpin Jersey beat, the whispers (the what’s that adlibs that overlap kajsoendksks), the sangin!!, the dreamy keyboard, the laced repetition, the breaths, the echoes and layered background vocalsssskakskjaksjsks I love thisssss!! It’s clubby and wispy and lowkey sounds like a sega game theme song at times lol Jeno sold me on this song in the first place with the “that’s a couple hundred CArats” bar like he ateeeee the delivery. Also CHENLE again BODIED yall I love his little beyonce moment overlapping into jaem’s verse. And renjun believe it or not got my man on the “heart like clink” cause he was so clean with it!!! BOX said 2nd gen rights!!! Everybody came to collect on the second half of this song bol I wasn’t feeling it too much until the second verse came around and rap line jumped on the beat like it stole something. The old school boom bap kick was nice and even fit with some of the vibes in smoothie so we like it. Honestly it’s the corny lyrics that drag this song down for me because the beat is actually insane and they did a lot of cool things with samples and voice effects. If this came out in 2010 I would’ve been bangin this HEAVY lmboooo mark really ate them up and that’s the most memorable part tbh. I like it for it feeling like a blast from the past but I can’t say it will get frequent air play. It’s catchy for sure but the glass breaking sound every two seconds is kinda taking me out and I get distracted by the cringy English lyrics and I start treating it like a classic that is listened to out of respect lmboooo

Mark bodied the intro verse yet again, jisung delivered with his deep voice (when he started whispering smoothie i ascended—), and CHENLE WASHED EVERY VOCALIST IN THE WORLD ON THAT SECOND VERSE BEAT CHANGE I LOVE IT SO MUCH AKMWOZKSOKSOSK Now we know they just being grown so the lyrics aren’t life changing but boy they was spittin with this one lmboooo the flows and speed and tones all ate downnnn. ICANTFEELANYTHING IS NOT A SONG ITS A WORK OF ART!!!!!!! Y’all when I say I almost had to take a time out from mark’s intro alone bc why is this alt jersey beat intro making me emotional???? Lmbo no but really this song is literally gorgeous. The instrumental alone is untouchable, let me just say that!!! The airy vocals, the Neo break in the chorus with the gang chant, the siren singing mixed in and at the end, the soft ‘aye’s, the harmonies!!!! Everything about this is hypnotic!! The keyboard, the echoing, the cut offs. It feels powerful and weak at the same time lansoaksosjsjs I love this it reminds me of enhypen’s intros and we all know how obsessed with those I can be lol the lyrics though!!! Dream always works around a common theme of facing your problems in every album but this one hit different. It’s like the more aware adult version with some resigned realism instead of the usual “friendship is magic” type of attitude.
