J. J. Smiley

Born after WW2 to average middle class parents. Married at an early age and remained so for fifty years. Three kids and eight grandkids keep me busy but I still have time to read and write. A degree in Environmental, Health and Safety was cause for a thirty year career in industry. Additional education in Deaf Communication was an interesting, enlightening and rewarding addition to my life.

An avid reader of science fiction (my books) and crime and romance (what my wife has around the house). I wrote for industry, reports, summaries, investigations and training manuals, to name a few.

However, I have written many stories and poems (rhymes) since 1996 for family, friends and for my own satisfaction. I hope you read some and enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
