so bubba met my dad and my step mom the other day and then in turn met my aunt sharon and her husband brian, my uncle shaun and his wife amanda, my grandfather jim and his stepdaughter amy and her husband jeff (and the kids thst were also at the gathering: alyssa, lily and uh the dude that stayed away from everyone except at dinner) and i felt so bad because they were only supposed to meet just my parents but it happened so suddenly and i didn’t want to overwhelm them but i wouldn’t blame them if they were bc i was also overwhelmed.
BUT!! they were so cute with my baby brother and it made me legitimately want to cry and then we were also showing our old pictures and i showed them my graduation ceremony and i said yeah it’s hawaiian tradition for the family to give you leis at big milestones (graduation, wedding, anniversary, etc) and- and then they said “are you gonna lei our kids too” OUR KIDS??? BESTIE DONT DO THIS TO ME ILL FUCKING CRY!
and then yesterday. yesterday came home. i was going to leave bubbys house around 11 but i was sleepy so i said id leave around 12:30 bc they had work at 12 and i was gonna leave after resting a bit but then the pillow had their scent on it and i melted into it but after a while the scent left and so i grabbed one of their shirts just to hold for a bit and then i ended up falling asleep until 2:30 and then i woke up and like cried bc i had to go home because i hate going home. and then i went home but it’s okay because we called last night and then i fell asleep listening to the sound of their voice on accident
