          Here's a tip for the future:
          If you want your stories to have cliffhangers, you may want to put chapters into different parts, like in your case...
          Prologue: Part 1
          Chapter 1: Part 2
          Chapter 2: Part 3
          And so on..............
          This keeps the reader on the edge of their seats. Shock them with a cliffhanger full of suspense and anticipation. Make them want to go to the next scene/chapter.
