@katycage awww noo i understand what you mean i also tried wrting a book but i have no time being in highschool but i aish i really loved that book i really hope in future you get a lots of tiime a someday the books will be republished and nightfall will be completed i get that nightfall is incomplete and might not get update anytime soon so unpublishing is understandable but whyy are you removing BW tooo?? pls let the amazing book achieve milestoness preettyy pllss but thats just my opinion okay the decision is yours and thank you for letting me know<<33

@213femalealphaakumu Nightfall is an incomplete story and will likely remain incomplete. I’m on a Wattpad writing hiatus due to lack of time. I wrote these stories as a teenager, and adult life has made it difficult to continue the Halfblood Chronicles on Wattpad while also pursuing a writing career outside of Wattpad - on top of work and social life. Believe me, if I could quit my day job, I would. Lol. 
          	  
          	  As stated in the above announcement, I intended to unpublish both Blood War and Nightfall today, but BW is at 487k reads and I’ve decided to wait until it reaches the 500k milestone. That means you’ll probably have a couple of weeks to read the 50% of Nightfall that is currently available, if you so desire.

Hi Katy! I have been lying in wait and lurking for a year - hoping against hope that you might update Nightfall. I actually haven’t started Bloodwar yet (because aren’t we all of the binge generation?) and it just hurts my heart to fall in love with the characters and then not given any closure… and I already know I’m going to fall in love with your characters!!! I am so excited to read your books. Do you think you will ever finish your series, or are you on a permanent hiatus? I hope you come back to Wattpad, but if you don’t - I will happily follow you elsewhere.

            If you're asking about sequels, I don't plan on writing one for my short story Ghosted. As for Blood War, it already has a sequel (Nightfall), which is partially written and available here on Wattpad for free.
            
            If you're asking whether or not I'll write more stories in general, yes, of course! I write all the time. I just don't post stuff on Wattpad that frequently. However, that does not mean I'll never post stories here again. If I do post new stuff, I will make an announcement to my followers when that happens. :)

After 2 & 1/2 years of managing to avoid COVID, I finally caught it. Don’t freak out, I’m doing fine. It’s not much different from the the last time I had the flu - though, I must say, the body aches and headache are pretty bad. I move around like a feeble old lady whenever I need to get out of bed. Otherwise, I’ve just got a light cough and stuffy nose.

@BooksAddict450 I think this might be a mirror website. It has all or most of Wattpad’s catalog on it, and the user with my book is listed as my own name, so it’s not someone who’s “stolen” the book per se. I’m gonna tell Wattpad HQ, but they probably already know about it. There’s lots of mirror websites out there. I would not recommend using them. They’re full of virus potential.
