hey everyone (:

as much as im not active on here anymore (somethings coming soon sshhhh) i feel the need to set the record straight on something.
ive got a few messages asking if the books on my old profile are ever going to be updated. they’re not. i don’t want those books associated with me anymore to be honest.
i started writing aus and fics when i was fourteen (to put that into context, im turning seventeen this year). i genuinely just wanted to write something for a group that i adore and, given that the person that got me into kpop was morally ambiguous with treating idols like people at the time, i thought shipping was the only way to do that. nowadays ive matured and realised there’s no point in writing something ive never really enjoyed writing because there’s other ways to do it. im incredibly uncomfortable with that kind of content. it got to a point where i was writing things i was no longer comfortable with writing because it had gained an audience.
that’s not to say that if you read it you’re immoral or whatever, if you ship people in private and have boundaries set i really have no reason to fault you for that. my issue is when this comes into public light and people blur the lines between real people and characters. even when i was younger i tried to make that distinction clear but some people looked right past that and did some,,, strange things with my writing. yeah not gonna go into that.

anyways that’s it, just felt the need to say ^-^
