I've got 2 announcements, one good and one not so good.

          	Let's start with the not-so-good:
God of Discovery is on hold. My original plan was to return to posting the new arc at the end of this month or beginning of February, but I've not been able to write this at all! I will not be abandoning it, but it will take me a little longer to get back to it.

As for the good news: my novel *Soultaming the Serpent* has been nominated for 4 categories in the Queer Indie Awards! This is a fantasy story with an aromantic lead, a poly end-game, older characters, a dragon, and a twist on your traditional tropes.

Take a look at the book here: https://books2read.com/soultaming
Or, if you've already read it, please go and vote for it here: https://qiawards.wordpress.com/voting-22/
          	(Voting ends 2 Feb)

          	That's it for now :)

Now that arc 3 is finished, I will be taking a bit of a break to prepare for arc 4. I thought I had most of it done as a first draft, but after doing a rough outline today, there's a lot that needs to be re-written and a lot of new stuff added as well.

Fingers crossed I can do it and build up a backlog to tide you all over since there will be at least one month of no GoD writing early next year as I work on another story.

In the meantime, I hope the holiday break is treating you all well and see you next year :)

@konstance-kay I have one question about your book that I believe is unsuitable for public posting. Would you mind emailing me so I can ask it?

Woot! God of Discovery is continuing with ARC 3 NEXT WEEK!
For that, here is a quick blurb for that specific Arc:

When the gods fall to the mortal realm, so does D’Argen, a god who crashes with enough force to destroy an entire culture. In response to his fall, he does what he knows best – he runs away and tries to forget about it. It is only through the intervention of his first friend, Lilian, that D’Argen is brought back into the fold, dedicating the next few millennia to aiding the gods in establishing their presence in the mortal realm.
As the years pass, D’Argen begins to feel a deep sense of unease, like something is not quite right. He finds himself questioning his leaders and trying to fight against his own nature without reason. Add to that being haunted by memories that have yet to happen, and D’Argen ends up fearing for his sanity.
When a memory surfaces that shows him the deaths of hundreds of the gods, D’Argen must figure out how to use his broken mind to his advantage, before he ends up losing those closest to him.

          Sounds good?

Break time! With the ending of Arc 2 for GoD, it is now time to take a bit of a break before I start posting Arc 3. My current schedule says I'll be back in October, so keep an eye out on that.

In the meantime, if you have any questions for either myself or the characters, let me know and I'll drop them in an interview-style interim chapter during the break!

Hope to see you around for Arc 3! :)
