I'm the indie author of two urban fantasy/paranormal romance series.

The first is the Half Blood Series originally started off as a trilogy, but will soon have 5, perhaps six books, in the series. I love werewolves, so my stories revolve around a particular pack called the Helheim pack. There's a lot of blood, sex and swearing in my books, and I will not apologize for that.

My second series is the Dark Series. The first book is called 'Dark Deceit', and is about the Norse gods and goddesses, in particular Valkyries. I've put a modern twist on this series, and am currently working on the second book, 'Dark Desire'.

I write under the name Lauren Dawes since I started writing my first book before I was married, and my new surname is too damn long to fit on a book cover. I live with hubs and my ginger cat, Oscar, in north-east Victoria, Australia.
