I'm so glad you love my content and want my advice! First off, I'm not a big fan of Korra myself and I find anything past the first season to be a bit boring, but some people enjoy it and that's okay. So, I'd say watch a couple episodes and see if you like it!
About my posting schedule... I don't have one. When I first started this fanfic, I overestimated how much free time I'd have to actually write it, so I haven't been able to post as frequently as I would like to. But, if you're a creator, you really should have one. Once I finish A New Ally, I have another fanfic planned for another fandom and I'm going to try to have it done before publishing it. That way, ya'll will only have to wait a week to read each chapter and not months :).
On tips for writing, my biggest one is this: ALWAYS know where you want your story to go. If you just wing it and don't plan it out, you could end up with an all over the place story. You don't have to solidify all the details, but have a rough draft with bullet points dictating how you want your plot to flow. Also, make sure to always proofread as much as possible. I find it hard to read fanfics that have way too many errors, so I try to make mine as clean as possible.
