I'm Em and I have a metal leg, very little shame and I love hiking and anything outdoors really, except caving - I really don't know why anyone would put themselves through small holes, at least not ones made of rock. Instead, I much prefer getting up ridiculously early to slog up a hill in the pouring rain! Thankfully, there are times when the clouds part, a stream of golden sunshine pours through,  the most beautiful view can be seen and you genuinely feel like it was all worth it - and that's for a whole 2 seconds! 

I lost my leg when it was crushed under a boulder in 2016 and you will be pleased to know that it hasn't stopped me doing anything I used to do - I still go bouldering! :D Anyway, you can read that story in "How a boulder made me bolder" so I hope you enjoy!
