Words, read or written, have always been an enduring passion of mine.  Words can be smug or encouraging, cruel or comforting, precise, random, priceless--the capacity of words to paint lives has been clear to me since first grade, when the principal published my first story, "Ricky and Tricky's Christmas," on the school bulletin board. Later that year, a kids' magazine--called Kids and very short-lived--paid me $1.50 to publish a truly awful poem about dolphins.  I never wrote another rhyming poem in my life.

I'm enormously proud of the four romances (one an anthology) published by Crimson Romance, and will be sharing excerpts of those.

My anthology, La Llorona (The Wailing Woman) re-tells a century old legend of  a woman driven to desperation by circumstance--and rounds out the short collection with essays and poetry.

The thing about words is that tell you what the story, or poem, or essay is.  And I always listen to words.
