Brooke's pov.
Nolan and I made small talk while waiting for our drinks. We talked about where he worked,where I worked,our families,our interests,until finally our refreshments arrived. "Do you guys know what you'd like to eat,or do you need a couple minutes?"asks Paige sweetly. Nolan and hadn't even looked at the menu yet. We had been caught up in a wonderful conversation instead. "Give us 3 minutes."Nolan says. I quickly scan the pages of delicious sounding food,but then decided on a plan dinner salad. Lucas always told me I was fat anyway,so I couldn't over eat. Nolan ordered a chicken friend steak with,mashed potatoes,corn,and a roll. Oh how my mouth watered at the sound of that. The thought quickly escaped my mind as I slipped back into reality. Our dinner came out 20 minutes later. Dinner wasn't as fun as I had expected. After we finished eating,and payed the bill we stood up and walked to the limo. Nolan opened my door and crawled in after me. As we headed of I noticed we weren't going in the direction of my apartment. I quickly informed Nolan and he replied saying,"just a little surprise before you leave." I didn't think much of it.
