I was born in Bristol, England, and have lived in the USA since 1998, except for a 2010-2012 timeout in England. I always wanted to write and eventually stumbled on the magical and somewhat maladjusted kingdom of Melloria and its neurotic Queen Letitia. I was able to self-publish Letitia Unbound and Letitia Uncrowned as ebooks in 2012 and 2013. A third novel, Letitia Undead, is still a WIP.
My latest project is a speculative sci fi novel called 2084. The first draft has been  on Wattpad quite a while and has received decidedly mixed 'reviews'. My aim was to complement Orwell's masterpiece, 1984, by  putting together a world in which humankind has bypassed the risk of enslavement by a One-Party State, but because of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is in social and economic turmoil. Employers are using AI to eliminate the workforce, and they and the governments that collude with them have created a state of misery that  leads to revolution. Two sisters, one a homeless girl with psychic powers, the other a scientist working to unlock the secrets of the human mind, are caught up in the revolutionary upheaval.
