Oscar O’Reilly

My name is Glenn O'Reilly Murray, I'm originally from the heart of Dublin city.
I spent most of my life competing as a boxer, I won a national title in 2008.
In 2012 I left Dublin on social welfare for Sydney Australia, since then I set out on a journey that I never thought would be possible.

I worked with Crocodiles in Darwin, I traveled the west coast to Perth with a carnival, I was a party promoter dressed as spider man in Cambodia, I lived and snowboarded in the French alps and whistler, Canada, I was flown by helicopter to work on Triple island light house of the coast of prince Rupert, I hitch hiked over four thousand kilometers and lived in Dawson city, Yukon. 
After traveling Central America I returned to Europe to work as party promoter in Barcelona, I lived inside a 13th century castle wall in Sweden's Gotland, I lived in Wellington of New Zealand while traveling the South Island via hitch hiking.
My latest adventure brought me to the island Aitutaki, Cook Islands deep in the Pacific Ocean in which I spent nearly 6 months.
Unfortunately enough it wasn't what I was looking for, fortunately enough years after following my heart I found it. 

My biggest achievement is that I'm sober since 21/07/2018. I suffered deeply with addiction along with mental health, it took my best friend dying to realize how bad of a problem I had.

My mission in life is to speak up about the person I used to be, while telling the tale of who I am now to how I lived all over the globe.
With nothing more than learning everything of  YouTube.

I have decided to return home after 7 years to pursue my personal legend as becoming a writer, i apologize in advance if my writing comes across too intense or upsets anyone in any way.
I have done things that I'm certainly not proud of, I hold no regrets as everything that happened lead me down this road to follow my heart.
