i really hope you dont mind me writing on here, if you do i’ll delete this right away! but im starting a new story, but people dont comment on it which makes it hard fir me to get feedback, got any advice?

I don't mind you writing on here at all, I think it's really sweet that you chose to ask me for advice! In my experience, writing short chapters (500-1500 words) and then publishing one every few days is the best strategy to boost your book at the start. People usually like chapters to be little and often since that way they're easier to read, plus you get double the amount of votes. That way your book gets promoted more and you tend to get more readers/comments. Also, replying to people's comments increases the likelihood of your book being promoted more so I'd recommend that! Of course I've only published six books so I'm by no means a professional at this stuff lol, these are just the things that I think sway the algorithm the most. I hope this helps, if you have any more questions lmk <3
