Thought I announced this earlier, but apparently not. 
          
          I am going on hiatus for the next 18 months! I will be in Brazil and due to the circumstances of my temporary move I will not have time to update my fics. Hiatus starts December 12 at 7am GMT. I will be back in June 2024 darn well ready to start updating fics.

Okay, if any of you know about a fic on here I'm looking for, please send it to me! It's a Bucky x reader, and Y/N was a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist kidnapped by Hydra after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Hydra had also captured Bucky again, and they want Y/N to help remove Bucky's memories and force him into being the Winter Soldier again. She does not do that, but makes it look like she is. She and Bucky befriend each other because they're with each other constantly, and eventually they work out a way to escape. But something happens and Bucky makes it out but Y/N abandons the plan because she doesn't think Bucky would make it out if she didn't. The Avengers happen to arrive around the same time. It's an uncompleted story, but I really liked it and am feeling in the mood for it.

psssst...let me give you a few secrets about reading fanfiction
          1) the author doesnt owe you anything
          2) asking when the author will update or demanding updates is very stressful for authors & often means it takes longer for the author to update. if a fic has not been updated recently, it is acceptable to ask if the author plans on continuing in a respectful manner, making sure to note that you are by no means pressuring them to write more. include a compliment when you do so.
          3) read the tags, description, author's notes, etc so that you have an idea of what content this will be. if there is, for example, smut in a fic & you don't like that & you saw that the rating was mature and/or smut was mentioned in the description or tags, it is your fault for seeing it, not the author's. if you don't like it, don't read it. it is self destructive if you willingly read something you know has things that will trigger or upset you.
          3) be respectful of the author's story telling decisions. everything from pairings, plot, character sexualities, etc. if you don't like it, don't read it.
          4) leave comments. particularly, authors love it when they get comments talking about the story, not just how much the reader loved the story
          5) the author owes you nothing

I write most characters as aspec but I don't always confirm it if they're less important characters or something.
