@lovelyroseARMY: Spread your writing styles out. Start by researching topics you wouldn't do on a normal bases, and start writing stories for it. Try some different techniques as well.
For example, once a month, I an required to do an essay (for a grant) from anonymous companies. They are random topics, so that gives me a chance to test out everything I know. I research a bit, and then begin to figure out a format. That way, not everything I write looks the same. Formats for writing can be informative, casual, questionable, and etc. Some of those formats can fit in for writing styles. There are many that can be used, but it should rely on the topic and the information you use.
Usually, when writing these type of stories (fanfictions), it's best that you use more creative formats and styles. Casual behavior is one of the best styles I understand, and one that I use the most often. Being explicit is more of a format, since you specify the details of everything in the book/chapter.
Although these formats and styles seem new to you, they really aren't. Teachers have been using them to guide young children since the beginning. My colleagues and I developed something stating these writing techniques on a private website, a while ago.
