            "...no." awkwardly looking away and even letting out a soft whistle. chancing a glance back and then man and then quickly looking away once more. "I don't suck at it . . you're just tough to get a read on." words mumbled a bit while he started to sulk.

            hand going to brush his nose at the phantom feeling left behind. eyes squinting a bit but harboring no complaints towards the action. "thank you! this means you have to get something other than your drink . . I don't recommend whatever I just got though." glancing at the drink before quickly looking away, fearing it'd somehow wind up back in his grasp. "it was mixed really well though. good bartender here . ."

            izzy was quiet for a moment then started chuckling. a can? he almost couldn't handle how adorable and funny noam was. "okay, sweets, you can pay. we'll find a can later, don't worry about it." he leaned a little closer and gently tapped noam's nose and smiled widely.

            "I'd feel bad if I got anything else." he let out a small huff white shifting in his seat. "why don't .. oh! why don't I treat / you / instead?! I don't have a tab . . I could probably find a can somewhere though . . " pondering the thought before shaking their head. "I haveee money though! that means you should totally definitely let me pay." leaning a bit in the others direction as he spoke.

            perking up at the mention of his name again, brightening at the following question. "yeah!" hands raising a bit in a cheer, not bothering to hide the enthusiasm. "where doya wanna go? there's a mcdonalds nearby! I passed it on my way."

            ryō watched him and found himself having forgotten about his cigarette. he dropped it before it burnt him and he stepped on it to put it out. "hey, noam? you wanna have a drink with me?"

" tilting his wrist up and staring .. at his watchless wrist. has he ever owned a watch? staring for a moment longer before taking out his phone, staring at the screen for a second before giving a nod. "five three two .. five thirty - two! that is the time that it is .. right now." turning the screen in the others direction just in case they wanted to confirm it.

            david stared at the other. how was he so unfazed? people usually got upset with him. he chuckled softly, completely taken aback. "uh.. yeah no, i mean.. you can tell me where i am, or the time. maybe both i think. i also don't remember where i put my stuff... sh!t."

            nodding in a quick sign of understanding. a hand moving to prop under his chin as he lifted himself. "that makes sense trust is pretty hard to give .. plus I wouldn't want to make them do what they don't like." letting out a hum after he spoke. "is there anything that / would / be okay for me to do? or I can scaddadle and leave you guys alone, whatever you fancy."

            "I don't trust anyone who doesn't like puppies." giving a shake of his head and then a smile of triumph as they found their wallet. shuffling through the cash before pulling out five twenties. "I don't know how far away you are from home but I think this should cover it? you can keep anything you don't use though!" holding out the cash with a smile. "I don't want you to pay me back. this is like .. a gift! you can give one in return if you want to I suppose .. maybe we could go somewhere together sometime? I have your number, which I still will not be stealing, so we could maybe talk .. or something!"

            he held the other's gaze as they glared at him. he felt worried for a moment then a smile spread over his lips. "of course i meant it in a good way! i love puppies." his smile faltered a little. the cab, right. he'd have to leave soon. it was nice, talking to someone nice like that. "thanks, again. for the cab thing. i'll pay you back."
