I’m glad I had the chance to read my favorite wattpad story, The Heartbroken Heartbreaker, before it became a paid one.

Wattpad really isn’t what it used to be ☹️

Idk why people keep following me, I’m rarely active, and then when I am, I binge read a book and leave annoying notifications. I’d say it’s for my dry humor, but I am not that funny. One of life’s mysteries that’ll never be solved.

Okay so I just finished this story:

I really loved it. I’m so tired of the cheerleaders being bitches, and the nerds being superior and so innocent and pure. I loved this story because it wasn’t cliche, and it didn’t follow a ton of tropes.

I highly recommend it. It’s a different twist from other stories that have the same exact plot of the girl being hated or the outcast or a nerd.

I get that writers need to be supported for the work they do on here. But let’s be honest, the majority of the writing on here is not good. The most popular story on here is a One Direction fanfic that has to be one of the most poorly written things I’ve ever seen. The grammatical and spelling errors goes above and beyond.

What I mean to say is that we already had the ads. Writers were making money, albeit slowly. With this whole paid story spiel coming out, it wouldn’t surprise me if Wattpad went downhill from here.

Not to mention that some authors have been taking their stories off the paid stories program because no one wants to pay for it. Don’t be James Charles and become greedy. Just my opinion.

How do you guys feel about it?

          Lots of love,

Popular stories such as “The Hoodie Girl,” and “the locker exchange,” now cost money to read. Don’t forget to read your favorites or they might cost money soon too. It sucks and is totally unnecessary

I've decided to pause "Maybe One Day," and read something a little less cliche to get inspiration for my own books. I have so many starter chapters and characters I want to share, but I want it to be like nothing you've read before. Plus, there is also the conundrum of a cover for said books. Oh well, I have to actually get a plot going to worry about any of that, don't I?
