            clearly unamused, barton blinked several times at the joker in response to his words as if to say ' was that really necessary? ' it was annoying in his opinion for the other to refuse to help him with what he gauged as a pretty simple task. but then again, he didn't expect anything less from the other deep down. so barton reached over for the hunting knife to the right of himself and grabbed it wordlessly; soon using it to cut the snare he'd set up to trap an animal. barton had gotten a fox this time, which he was quite pleased with. that didn't prevent him from directing a glare at the other from the corner of his eye, however — barton picking up the animal by the scruff. " mm, no thanks, joker. i deal with your shit enough already. and haven't you ever heard of keeping things as inside thoughts? because i think it would've been better if you just handed me that knife like i asked you to, but whatever. i guess you just won't be getting any of the stew i'll be making with this fox. " barton cleared his throat, then, and began walking away from him. he knew that preventing someone from eating when he'd be making food in front of them was a vindictive move... but he didn't care. a smirk tugged at barton's lips as he spread one of his arms out in a shrug-like gesture, " sorry, but you only have yourself to blame for this one. what did you even come to these woods for, anyway, if you weren't aiming to help me?
