the door to the mansion seemed stiff and heavy. but with a forceful push, the man in a dark blue coat opened it. montague stepped into the room, and his mismatched eyes took in the scenery before him. then he took a few steps inside. the air inside the building seemed stale. maybe that indicated that it was unoccupied... 'brilliant' he thought positively. but he would keep his witts about him despite the opportunity seemingly being served to him on a dusty silver platter. you never know who, or what, could be lurking in the unknown depths of dilapidated places

"i'm not going to listen to you any longer." with a huff, montague turned and began walking. apparently he didn't have much of a sense of humor. he called out to the other as he got to the door. "i will see you around."

@-diamondheart “ or what ? you’ll suck me into a vacuum ? oh , i’m so scared . ” he scoffed , rolling his eyes . well , metaphorically anyways but the gesture surely was still received . “ how i wish . haven’t you heard about ghosts and unfinished bullshit ? ” such things beniamino always found boring , but sometimes reading did pass the time.. barely . “ this so - called ‘dump’ was once my home , mind you . it’s still my home so i’d suggest you show it some respect . ”

"don't you speak to me like that." he warned. "shouldn't you be at the afterlife right now?" the remark was snarky, but that was how montague was: he was an attitude-filled rich man with a bit of a temper. "not plaguing some /dump/ ?"
