Gotcha. Yes I've heard so many ancestors dating way back have roots on here but have already settled for long in India. And Bengali accent is definitely always different than our Bangla accent, it shows.  Unfortunately I'm not related to Calcutta at least in my knowledge so far :( 
            We always read Chittagong as well we still say Chittagong but on official papers it's just chattogram
