a lesson saphoriel was quick to learn in the current moments of her long, long life. now granted, she was quite clumsy. and so little cuts and bruises were ever common along the expanse of her ivory skin. yet today.. today was much different. much worse.
she’d been gone for weeks. having left warm, safe arms of marius early one morning in a hurry. uncharacteristically serious, and solemn. as if some type of end was nigh. worse than that, she’d left so ominously. kissed him goodbye in a way that would’ve felt like forever. those bright doe eyes watery with unshed tears.. and she hadn’t given him the chance to question her. diving off of the balcony to his bedroom and into the sky without another notice.
and now here she was. drenched in rain water, and the shimmery color of angel blood. gold. so much of it, pooling from her back, and dribbling down her chin. the limbus that floated behind her head, normally as bright as the sun was dimmed to almost nothing. her wings hang low on her back, and those eyes.. milky as ever, but so dull. so empty, besides the tears that finally spilled over. dragging herself through the garden she and the prince spent so much time in, and slumping against their special tree. she didn’t even have the energy to go find him, and this upset her even more.

ପ @mayhemed ໃꪆ ̖́- the seraphim melted into him completely and utterly, there was no denying that. his kisses sparking a match underneath the surface of her pale and pinkened skin. and just as he had admired her, she did the same in return. soft and rough golden and orange hues mixed against his hair and complexion; giving him the a synthetic halo that hovered beautifully over his handsome face. he was truly divine, worthy of being worshipped the same way he’d done her, and does her. saphorie returned his kisses with fervent, equally desperate ones of her own. whining against his plush lips a gentle plea of his name, for the first time in their weeks together. “ marius.. ” had made its way past her pretty little lips. the blush on her face ever blossoming into a carnation flower. slender ivory hands fisted the fabric of his wears, while her own thin silk whites began to slip down her shoulders due to his hold.. but she didn’t care. what was there to hide now? “ your.. your pretty songbird. ” so sweet, and so shy. hearts danced in circles within her eyes as she watched him. this was her confession; she wanted to be his.

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⸝✿ ˖ @anvell- ⠀ ͙ࣳ ⸝⸝ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ the golden hour haze accentuated each of her dear prominent features he treasured so dearly. he wondered how her doe eyes which held constellations in them could gaze at him with intense affection and he happened to notice her soft white wings shimmering against the sunlight. goodness, he could stare at his goddess like this all day long. marius was truly certain he was experiencing heaven on earth at her next action. his breath hitched when she pecked his skin, and it seemed his self restraint was finally dwindling. blinking with his beautiful lashes, he immediately pulled saphorie into his embrace and grasped her collar, desperately intertwining their lips. “i equally crave your attention on me. fuck, there's no denying how enamored i am with you, my pretty songbird.” marius whispered between kisses while leaning her against a tree trunk.
