Hi everyone,

Wow, it's been a long time. I'm not quite sure what inspired me to log in to my Wattpad account today--its been almost two years--but I'm glad I did. I'm so humbled by all of you who are still following me, reading and commenting on my work. Some of it is a little embarrassing, looking back, but it also reminds me of all of the progress I've made these years as a writer. It also reminded me why I'm doing what I'm doing now: studying writing in college. The support for my work I've received from this community over the years played a truly instrumental role in getting me to where I am today. I found out that I wanted to be a writer through my time spent reading and writing on Wattpad. And now I can't imagine myself doing anything else.
I guess I just want to say, don't let other people discourage you from what you're passionate about. 9 times out of 10 you know your own gut better than anyone else does, so don't let them try to talk you out of following your dreams. Now that I'm in college and able to immerse myself even more into writing through my studies, I've found validation that my passion is not just a dream, but could one day be what I make a living doing. (That's the goal anyway!) But I can't forget that I first found that reassurance and validation in you guys.
I love you all--thank you a thousand times over!

          	Suzanne
