I'm an optimistic and passionate person. I go above and beyond for the people I care about. My family is everything to me and I wouldn't be where I am without their constant support and acceptance of who I am and what I can be.
It took me 27 years to come out of the closet. It wasn't easy. I stayed in the closet because of my mom. She was a principal in our town. Writing my first story is a way for me to motivate closeted lesbians out there to let go of that fear of being rejected. People who truly love us will accept us no matter what our sexuality is.
Writing has always been a passion since I was young. Expressing my innermost thoughts and emotions through the written word, liberates me.
