Hi! I just wanted to let you all know that I am doing okay! I also wanted to thank everyone who has left me such kind messages, they have meant the world to me whilst I’ve been gone, and I will forever be grateful to have you all in my life <3
I don’t usually post about my personal life on here, but 2024 has been one of the worst years of my entire life, I have been in the trenches the whole time :’) My health was the biggest culprit, which is why I stopped writing here (nothing is quicker at killing dreams than the realisation of your own mortality it seems). But as Taylor Swift would say, ‘long story short, I survived.’ I’m recovering from surgery now and doing A LOT better, and I absolutely cannot wait for this year to be over.
Regarding my stories, I’m not too sure what I want to do at the moment. 2024, although horrendous has shaped me in many ways and my passion for the things I want to write has changed. For now, all I know is that I want to write romances and fantasies that showcase my identity as a South Asian Muslim woman. I don’t know what that means for MM, KMD, WBL and PH, but please bear with me whilst I heal and figure things out.
