I am a graduate student.

English is not my native language.

I love reading, obviously. I really don't have a favourite genre. Basically, if a book has a great plot and is well written, I don't mind whether it's Fantasy, ChickLit or a Thriller (although I don't read too much of the latter, simply because I get the impression that lately a lot of these books out in the stores have become rather predictable and too graphic when it comes to violence...seriously...if good ole Mr Doyle would try to publish Sherlock Holmes today, he wouldn't stand a chance because he's lacking dead people).

I actually still write by hand, using a pen. Yes, I know I'm old fashioned. But pages full of writing in ink look kind of great ;)
