          — so don’t go asking for certain characters to live/unlive or for sex scenes/smut especially when it’s been previously explained that the author is uncomfortable with writing certain things within their own stories. 
          
          — and while on that topic,,, NO ONE is telling or FORCING you to read anything you don’t want to, so you don’t have to publicly announce that you’ll be leaving certain fics just because you don’t like a certain aspect of it. literally just go, save us all the time. 
          
          it’s one thing joking around about suggesting certain things, but another is bashing an author and their writing for something they’ve created that doesn’t match your version of perfection. 
          
          instead of criticizing others’ works, perhaps you can try making your own for a change and see just how you like all the degrading comments on something you’ve worked hard on and came from your own imagination, creativity, and thoughts.

          YOU hold so much value, feelings, and valid thoughts that shouldn’t be simmered down to what you “do with your life” 
          
          to all the friends that don’t have either; that are still afraid of the current pandemic, or might have financial issues, OR FOR WHATEVER REASON — it’s still VALID. 
          
          YOU’RE STILL VALID. regardless if you stay at home or not. regardless is you attend school or not. regardless if you haven’t gotten a callback from an interview or not. 
          
          Your worth isn’t and shouldn’t be measured by others on terms of where you go to school, what you’re working towards in school, or what your current job is. 
          
          i’m sorry that you have had to go through things like this, whether being ridiculed for your choices or not; 
          
          but another reminder: if anything was so important, no one would’ve let you choose or plan out your life at the age of 17/18/19 when we’re all still considered “kids” or not “of legal age yet” in other aspects of life.
