Hi, I am Deborah. I was not really into reading when I was younger but now that I'm a mature woman, I have found a special place in my heart for reading. My favorite genres are horror, fantasy, and romance. I think one of my favorite books is "IT" by Stephen King. Me and my husband, Michael, like to read together at night when the kiddos are tucked away in bed. When I hear about people that do not like to read, it saddens me because without reading, you really can't get far in life. Despite the stereotypes about middle aged women from the south (Mississippi), I do not continuously say "Live, Laugh, Love" even though you should live, laugh, and love. Without my husband and kids, I feel that I would have never found who I really was and who I really am today. I joined this app because I heard that there are tons and loads of people who love to read and love to explore different types of books, novels, poems, and other forms of reading, like myself. One quote that really stuck around with me throughout the years is "If you don't risk anything, you risk even more." by Erica Jong. That quote has a substantial place in my life because it means to not be afraid to take a chance at something since if you do not take chances, you do not learn. Another quote that stuck with me is "You never fail at nothing, you only learn" which came from one of my teachers in high school.
