I love to read. I never have enough books to read and I will read just about any type of story. I rarely start a book and do not finish it. While I believe there is nothing quite like the feel of a book in your hand and the feel of real pages as they turn between your fingers, smart phones mean I am almost never without a story and I can fall asleep while reading without leaving the light on!
Unfortunately the only imagination I have is that which allows me to visualise my own version of the characters, places, feelings and worlds from the stories I read. I have neither the creativity or articulation to piece together a story of my own. A skill I am very envious of!
I rarely leave comments as I am far quicker to criticise than praise and given the time and effort I know has gone into these stories it seems unfair to just pick holes in them.
We are all prone to typos but my biggest pet hate is poor spelling! My own grammar and spelling is probably not what it should be but consistent bad spelling I find impossible to overlook and can cause me to delete a story without finishing it. I do find it hard not to point out every little spelling mistake and typo I see so I've decided not to do it at all or I won't be able to put down the imaginary red pen!
