Some general information about me is that I'm a female, I love reading and writing my own books and I really love animals (especially tigers). To be honest, I don't have a favourite genre because I can get genre fatigue at times and I need a variety of types of books to fulfil my hunger for them. Some books that I'd recommend are:
The Tiger's Wife - Téa Obreht
The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini
The Hobbit - J.R.R Tolkien 
The Returned - Jason Mott (also loved the TV series, "Resurrection")
The Memoirs of Mary Queen of Scots - Carolly Erickson 
Masquerade - Kylie Fornasier (love love love this one)
