could someone who's a Slytherin explain why they think that they are? I'm not saying that all Slytherins are bad but at the same time jkr kinda wrote it that way (what good qualities do they have???) and i think it's pretty shitty in general to sort ppl so superficially??? I don't think it's good but there's like no good canon slytherin trait so I don't really get it?? does that make sense ༎ຶ–༎ຶ

I think resourcefulness is one of their good qualities?I also remember that Slytherins are ambitious and I mean,ambitions are important in driving people to advance and accomplish their goals. But yeah,I agree that jkr wrote Slytherin to be the villainous house in a way. From the other houses,we seldom see bullies but with Slytherin?Literally all the bullies in the Harry Potter book come from Slytherin so it’s sort of understandable that people have a stereotype for slytherins
