Hi.

I'm an editor.

Not professionally.

It just sounds cool if I say that.

If you need help

I can assist.

Learn the difference. It will make your story better, and improve the overall quality and reader satisfaction. If you don't know how to spell something, look it up or use autocorrect.

A new paragraph starts every time a different person starts talking. Putting everything in one paragraph is daunting for the reader and text should be broken up periodically, even if no one is speaking. If one character is talking for a particularly long time, the end of the paragraph should not have quotation marks, but the start of the next paragraph should, to show that the character is still verbally talking and not just thinking.

LEARN HOW TO USE COMMAS. LEARN WHETHER TO CONTINUE A SENTENCE WITH A COMMA, END IT WITH A PERIOD, OR SHOW A BREAK IN THOUGHT WITH A SEMICOLON (;). EVERY READER WILL THANK YOU FOR USING CORRECT GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, AND PARAGRAPH LENGTH. If you need help realising what this is, look it up or contact me. I will be happy to assist you.

This has been a PSA.

Goodbye
