My Psycho Academia (SPOILERS FOR FUTURE CHAPTERS)
AGAIN SPOILERS
“What game are you playing here, huh? What? You think you can take it easy and still surpass me, is that it?” Todoroki questions as Y/N looks back at him with a blank stare
The boy continues to look back at the Number Two’s son for a moment longer before speaking. “No, not it at all”
“Then what? What the hell are you trying to pull?” The double quirk boy asks as his fists clench tighter
“I’m not trying to pull anything. I’m just here because I want to be.” Y/N replies, causing Todoroki to furrow his eyebrows even more
“We all want to be here, to become pro heroes, and out of everyone, I will become number one. Even with your power, if you’re not going to fight me at full strength, then I’ll defeat you and claim my spot.” Todoroki exclaims while throwing daggers at Y/N, yet the boy is unaffected
“That’s good. I hope you reach that goal. I’d feel a lot better knowing everyone’s future is in the hands of someone like you.” Y/N says, causing Todoroki to raise an eyebrow and throw his demeanor off
“What? What are you talking about?” Todoroki accusingly asks
“What I mean is that I’ll be happy if you’re number one because I can see you’re a great person, but I know that will never happen.” The comment causes Todoroki to regain his frustrated expression once more
“Oh, yeah? Why? Are you declaring my defeat by your hands?” Y/N shakes his head, “no” in response
“No. I’m saying that because my friend, Izuku Midoriya, will become the number one hero.” Y/N proudly expresses with a smile, causing Todorki to become even more confused
“Wait, Midoriya? What about you? You’re not gunning for the tittle of number one?” Todoroki confusedly expresses, receiving another shaken head as a response
“No. I’m not trying to be number one. I’m becoming a hero because my master told me to use my gifts to help those in need, and right now, my friends are the ones who need me”
