we all burn

tfw when you're trying to write but you're so tired you can't focus for long enough to do more than stare at the screen

Alright, abc clouds c8 is now ~2000 words and right on track. It should only take two or three more writing sessions to wrap it up, and then some editing because I've written most of it in a sleep-deprived fugue state, aka how I'm living right now. After c8, there are only three chapters until we wrap up what I call 'part one' of the story.  
          Anyway, because I've been dreadful at updating this year, let's wrap up with a snippet from the upcoming chapter:
          "So Caleb says, “I’m fine,” and throws back the rest of his cup."

And she's live! Chapter 7 of Alphabet Clouds is now available to read after like four months! It's a bit of a ride, and it explores Maggie and Caleb's friendship (which is basically all I've done with Caleb right now, but be patient. Change is coming), as well as delving a little more into Caleb as a character. Anyway, I'll stop faffing on and start working on C8. Peace.

ABC Clouds Chapter 7 is now over 3000 words. Unfortunately, I've also realized that the notebook with my chapter breakdown is in a box on the other side of town, because this pandemic hit right while my family was in the middle of moving. And I literally have no other copies of my chapter notes, so this is going to be interesting.

Trying to write while dealing with depression fatigue/fog is like trying to walk through a field of foot-deep snow.
          Exhausting and demoralizing.
          Ugh

Have /finally/ broken 1000 words on Chapter 7 after wrestling with my writer's block for another month, this time with the added bonus of being in the fanfiction pit and accidentally writing the characters of my current ship into my boys which is real f u c k i n g annoying. Anyway, based on my chapter outline—which I'm doing now because /writer's block/—this is going to be another doozy. Oh joy. I'm also in the process of moving, so pleased remain accustomed to my updating abc clouds only every blue moon. Because my brain sucks.

After one trip to the ER, an MRI, a mental breakdown, a medication change, and nearly two months of stalling out, I am finally working on C7 properly. I've got a direction and a plan for not only C7 but C 8-9 as well. I am exhausted and spacey, but this story is my baby and I will finish it if it kills me!

Y'all I did it! Chapter Six is over 5000 words and now available to reeeaaad! My attention span has been the size of a grape for the last two days but I actually managed to finish it!

I am so hecking /close/ to finishing C6 for abc clouds but I’m out of time for today. Time to head to work. I’m off tomorrow so I am going to finish it if it /kills me/. I post as soon as I’m done and fix all the spelling errors later, so expect something tomorrow folks. (Finally)
