I saw Cursed Child yesterday!!
It was FANTASTIC! Like, genuinely the best play I’ve ever seen (musicals are a class of their own though). The staging was stunning and the magic illusions were INCREDIBLE!!
PS I used to wonder why people shipped Albus and Scorpius and thought it was a stretch but OMG THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS SO PURE

Youth theatre cast parties: drama, chaos, hot tubs, SOO much food, pizza, cake, crowded rooms
Adult theatre cast parties: same, except there’s 50 adults instead of kids and alcohol involved
(not for the kids of course, of which there are only three of us, myself and two ASMs)
This is wild but I sort of love it, further proving my point that adult theatre kids are the best people on the planet

@Gaby_Theater_Kid Oz did not come to the party :( Also AWW that’s fun!! Since there’s all adults in my cast they use stupid Facebook messenger for their gc which I don’t have :( But we do emails for actual important director stuff and I have been getting some cast members on Instagram too so it’s ok :)

@nadiasandas3 We open thus Friday We have 3 full dress rehearsals Tues, Wed, and Thurs. I'm already so exhausting. But it us so much fun. Even when im not on stage, I'm having the time of my life backstage with the other bohemians

@Gaby_Theater_Kid we just closed our show today and when I tell you we were BAWLING in the Bohemian rhapsody encore AHHHHHHH seriously this cast is absolutely amazing and it’s definitely one of the most fun shows I’ve ever done ahhh

I have my first competitive improv event today!
I’ve been mentoring an improv team at my school this year, even though I’ve only done club improv and not team improv. We have about 10 people who regularly show up to our club meetings and participate and although none of improv experience and none are absolutely STELLAR at improv, we do have a lot of energy and enthusiasm :)
We’re travelling for an hour and showing up at this X-round event with absolutely NO IDEA what to expect but hopefully it’s a learning environment for everyone!

The best thing about doing theatre is that you can do literally anything before a show and no one will question it if you just call it your “pre-show ritual”
Like today at our invited dress rehearsal, I spent the ten-minute call lying upside down on the stairs eating baby carrots and playing sudoku and everyone just assumed I was “prepping myself” and didn’t bother me :)
