i do wear my glasses most of the time. unfortunately i can't do very much with contacts because i have this thing about anything getting too close to my eye. i only wear them when i'm going out for something nice. 
            
            i also hate eye tests for the same reason. i am terrified of those machines where they keep bringing things closer and closer to your eye, or the one that suddenly puffs air into it. that's my nightmare.

that's okay! i hope you had a wonderful time on your road trip. today i sat on my glasses and broke them. i've left my contacts at a friend's place so i can't get them back until tomorrow, and now i'm typing with my face very close to the screen. 

i don't know if you know this, but i'm always in a manic state from exhaustion. that's my default setting.
