Natural Apiary was born out of respect for bees and the environment. James Bailey and Karla Leal grew up with a passion for beekeeping. After many years, they shared that love as a catalyst to create Natural Apiary.
Natural Apiary's primary aim is to help encourage more people to take up beekeeping by removing the biggest barrier to keeping bees, "the fear of being stung".
"Being stung for the first time on my face at the age of 14 has remained a constant reminder of how important it is to wear a reliable suit and veil" (James Bailey).
