I am a human with multiple disorders and disabilities (autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Fibromyalgia, mild blindness, anxiety) trying to spread messages of neurodiversity and unconditional acceptance and tolerance of difference. It is my belief that we are not disabled by our impairments, but by our unaccepting and inaccessible society. My autistic obsessions are disability studies, sociolinguistics, and deer.

Please address me as a "person with autism/ vision loss/ neurodivergence/ chronic illness/ disability" rather than an "autistic/ blind/neurodivergent/ chronically ill/ disabled person". I have heard the many valid pleads for "identity-first language" and will respect any disabled persons who identify that way, but to lessen stigma around my own neurological and physical differences, I have chosen to put myself first. There is nothing shameful about being impaired or disabled, but I am not disability. I am me.
