Update on last nights game
          
          We wore blue ribbons for the opposing team. Their band lost their percussionist section leader due to Covid. His conditions of being in a wheelchair and other things made his Covid battle harder to fight. 
          
          While dealing with that lost, the other band did amazing marching, and their director thanked us for respecting his late student. 
          
          
          
          This was rival week, and we were tied for wins. Now, I’m southern, and this is rival week, high school football, in the south, between two semi-large cities.
          
          Oh yeah, there was 8,000 plus people.
          
          
          So, we killed it during our halftime show, but things went downhill.
          
          The score was 7-16, us being 7.
          
          With three minutes left and the clock running, we catch an interception, and run A WHOLE 92 yards for a touchdown.
          
          It’s now 14-16, with 1:30 remaining, the clock still running. They fumble the ball and we snatch it up.
          
          Next play, we score a touchdown but miss the kick.
          
          
          The entire band counted down from 10 like it was New Years in our field, and once that clock hit zero, we were screaming like we’d won the lottery
          
          
          
          Final Score: 20(us)-16(them)

alright, so im pretty sure no one cares, but the game last night went well! my team won 34 to 6, and we marched extremely well! so yeah, i’m gonna try and find some time to be able to write more :)

@NoireBug don’t be! whenever i was one i got a baby puppy, we basically grew up together, and in 2nd grade, my mom had to tell me that he got loose and got ran over. my uncle had to come get him out of the road and bury him in the pet cemetery that all of the family pets are in.
            my mom broke down crying after i innocently said “mama, what am i gonna do without my best friend? we were like twins mama...”
            
            bro, it’s been almost 7 years, i still miss Gus. he was poggers.
