          we've seen pleas for humanitarian aid on the news very often. so often that african children have become the face of poverty, hunger and pain. after so much exposure and no change, dehumanisation settles in because it's not shocking anymore. it still breaks your heart. but subconsciously to many it's almost expected. i feel like i have blood on my hands since the minerals used for electronics including the phones we're holding are part of the reasons millions of people have been getting killed and having their humanity stripped away with other crimes for decades. their skin colour doesn't make them less worthy of care. no one's existence should be ignored and erased, especially because of that. please stay aware
