Hey! 
          
          I just wanted to say that your Book Title Ideas inspired really great plots and characters for future books! 
          
          I wanted to say thank you for all the ideas

I don’t take the decision to announce updates to my followers often, but this is one occasion where I believe it’s necessary.
          
          I recently noticed that certain categories (e.g. “random”) have vanished from Wattpad, yet you can still give books the missing categories. Now I’m not sure why, but it obviously brings some concern.
          
          In addition to this, Wattpad has recently been taken over by another company. Whilst they swear no changes are being made, there has been a lot of activity on Twitter where people have reported their books being deleted.
          
          Admittedly these are books that go against the rules, but stuff like having a copyrighted picture in your book cover is against the rules.
          
          I would advise those with books in the missing categories to back them up. When Wattpad deletes your books, there is no way of recovering them (they removed the backups a while back).
          
          I will be backing up my books but if the random category is being removed (and there is currently no equivalent), this could be the end for Book Names Ideas (among my other books).

Published a new part for the first time in almost a year and a half!

Wattpad had a data breach just under a month ago and it exposed a heck-ton of info (see https://twitter.com/oceanswattpad/status/1285006161171959809?s=21).
          
          A heads up for anyone who didn’t know.

POTENTIAL DEPARTURE FROM WATTPAD
          
          I don’t know how to begin this. 
          
          I’ve been on Wattpad for 6 years now. I started off as a teenager and now I’m an adult. Time has flown by. Back then, I was constantly on Wattpad before I took a break for a while.
          
          When I came back, this account had blown up. I started being active again. And for a few years, I was.
          
          But then I lost my motivation again. And this time it hasn’t come back. And with certain events occurring within my life, I don’t believe I’m going to be back any time soon, if ever.
          
          I knew that if this day came then I would rather announce it than just disappear, something which so many Wattpaders didn’t do when they left.
          
          It may be temporary or it may be permanent. Part of me hopes for temporary, but the other part of me hopes for permanent. I’ve grown up a lot in those 6 years and being on Wattpad is almost like being a different person now. And I’m getting busier by the day and also have some health issues going on, and I fear for the worst-case scenario happening without a goodbye.
          
          Regardless of what happens, I’ll always treasure my time on Wattpad.
