Hi everyone! *insert shy wave*
          
          I have entered the Lost Jewel in to the 2023 Punk Rock Awards, hosted by @PrettyinPunkBC. So far, I have entered the special categories, but am still deciding whether to submit an entry into the genre-specific category.
          
          Fingers crossed this goes well. If not, it won't be the end of the world...yet. 
          
          Okaaaayy then, now I will fade back into my dark hole, trying to come up with new chapters. Au Revoir. *sinks into the background like that Homer Simpson gif*

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
          
          I have brought a present to help usher in the new year; a new chapter. Even if I am 23 days late into the new year, I wanted this chapter to be absolutely perfect for y'all. 
          
          This is currently the longest chapter in the book, but it was an absolute blast writing it besides doing homework. I'm pretty sure my fellow procrastinators will know what's up.
          
          Anyway, enjoy the new chapter, and don't be a stranger <3

          Yes! This is not an announcement promising a new book (I am sorry about that), rather this is to share with you all that I do in fact have a new book out NOW <3. It is only the first 6 chapters, though, because I may or may not have yet written the rest.

Hello World!!!
          
          This July is a big month because it officially marks 6 years. YES! It has been 6 years since my friend introduced me to this wonderful site. 6 years since I created this account. 6 years since I posted my first story. 6 years since I have found my love for writing. 
          
          7 published stories, a contract with another website (check my bio for the link to that), a handful of reading lists full of amazing authors and their own stories, 300+ followers, A TON of deleted and unpublished drafts and stories, and many works-in-progress mark my wonderful 6 years. 
          
          I may not be where I imagined myself 6 years into the future when I first discovered fanfictions, but I could not have predicted how much this account means to me. This account continues to bring blessings into my life. From reading, to writing, to meeting new people. The past 6 years on this site will be something I will always cherish.
          
          I know I am not as active here as I was in the early years. I am not writing (or maybe just not publishing ‍♀️)  and reading as much as before, and I am sorry for that. 
          
          I was originally planning to mark 6 years with a highly awaited update to my final Winx book, but plans changed. I am, however, working on 2 different books. Plus, another 5 different story concepts. 
          
          I make no promises on when I will be really active again or when I shall start sharing my new works with you. You will just have to wait and see. 
          
          For now, I shall leave you with this:
          “A smooth sea never made a skilled pirate.”
