--Location: Pacific Northwest
I was born and raised in Washington and Oregon on the wet side of the Cascade Range. Within a ninety-minute drive are snow-capped mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Vast reaches of dense forests and the longest stretch of unobstructed sandy beach offer outdoor enthusiasts plenty of opportunity for exploring.

--Education: D.Min. and Ph.D.
Both degrees were obtained as part of my professional training. I served as a pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist church after completing my master's at Andrews University. I got my D.Min. during my work as a pastor. I obtained a Ph.D. through Capella University in clinical psychology.

--Publishing History: Adolescent Novel
I've had an interest in books and writing dating from high school. I've published one book, Orcas Island Mystery, by Review and Herald, and a few articles.

--Current Projects: October Rain and December Solstice
October Rain--On her way to her first nursing stop, Diana couldn't have imagined that her life was about to melt into a puddle of chaos. Everything she loved was swept out from under her when her patient's grandsons threatened a lawsuit against her and her agency. Will Diana be able to save her career? And how will her fiance, an attorney, react to the political fallout that will follow? And worst of all, will Diana's legal problems spell doom for her Congressman father's election? And what about the younger of the two grandsons? Was he playing a good cop, bad cop game? Themes: love and commitment, loyalty, faith, boundaries.

December Solstice--Lenna had idealized her hometown, but now that she returned to set up her counseling practice, she is faced with heart-stopping crises. What will Lenna do as she is swept up in the crime affecting her patients? And what about Ethan, her high school boyfriend who abandoned her for his education? How will his return to town affect her? Can she trust him?
