i am fucking sick of people romanticizing suicide or ANY MENTAL ILLNESS. it is not s fucking joke, nor is it ''aesthetic & cute'. in the 21st century it's extremely hard to decipher the people with an actual mental illness, and those faking it. i do not care if this is a controversial topic, just fucking stop please.
@adeuxqueer Yeah, and sometimes the aftereffects are as bad as the disorder itself, that's where things went bad for my friend Shelly. She'd finally admitted that she had a problem, and started cooperating with therapy and everything, but by that time she'd done so much damage to herself that her kidneys and liver basically just shut down. Her dad came home from work and found her passed out in the kitchen, and she never came out of it, and died three days later.
@Starelf555 I'm sorry about your friend. Yeah, that's how a decent amount of bandfics go. It's a very hard habit to break and it ends up having permanent effects on your body. Not to mention cutting is normally a result of abuse and someone wants to punish themselves, or wanting to cause physical pain to prevent emotional pain. The emotional pain is normally from some kind of mental illness, it doesn't just go away when you meet them.
@adeuxqueer I agree 350%! It's a huge thing in the bandfics, if I scroll through stories in my fandom, probably over half have the OC either cutting or having an eating disorder. Until she meets (insert band member here), that is, and then it all goes away. I've personally never had these issues, but I had a friend who died of complications from an eating disorder, so I know it doesn't work this way. If it did, she'd still be alive, because she had a long-term boyfriend who basically busted his ass trying to help her get past it. So just in case someone still doesn't get it, getting a boy/girl friend isn't gonna instantly make things better, so please stop promoting this idea.

@Counter4revolution it's actually a misunderstood religion- it originates from paganism actually and there are no 'human sacrifices'. Most people that kill in the name of satan are fake.
